Dr. Cole Stanton, O.D.

Dr. Cole H. Stanton is a Fort Smith native who is proud to serve patients across Western Arkansas with a focus on personalized, patient-centered care. He graduated from Northside High School, then continued his education at Hendrix College and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Optometry.

During his time in school, Dr. Stanton was recognized for both his academic and clinical performance, receiving the Excellence in Clinical Care award. He was also actively involved in leadership development through the Arkansas Optometric Association LEAD program and the American Optometric Association Leadership Institute. Prior to optometry school, he competed as a collegiate athlete, playing four years of college football.

Dr. Stanton is passionate about helping patients improve their vision and quality of life, especially through treatments that provide meaningful, lasting relief. He has a particular interest in dry eye care, where targeted treatment can make a noticeable difference for patients who have struggled with discomfort.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Stanton is involved in community outreach, including participating in local career events and educational activities. He values opportunities to connect with the community and help others learn more about eye health.

Outside of the office, Dr. Stanton enjoys spending time with his wife, Cortney, and their two children. He stays active with fishing, running half marathons, and following his favorite sports teams.
