Dr. Seth Laster, O.D.

Dr. Seth C. Laster was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and has been connected to the field of eye care from an early age. After graduating from Union Christian Academy, he continued his education at the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith, where he also competed as a collegiate athlete.

He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude. During his time there, he was recognized with the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society Silver Medal for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. He also presented contact lens research at the Heart of America Optometric Meeting and helped establish the school’s first Surgery Club, serving as its inaugural president.

Dr. Laster has advanced training in anterior segment laser procedures and provides a range of in-office treatments, including YAG laser procedures following cataract surgery and glaucoma laser treatments. He also performs minor procedures and has experience managing complex cases through his clinical training and externship in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In addition to his work in the clinic, Dr. Laster has participated in medical mission efforts in Roatan, Honduras, where he helped provide eye care to underserved communities.

Outside of the office, Dr. Laster enjoys spending time with his wife, Joni, and their three children. He stays active with hiking and pickleball, and enjoys following his favorite teams, including the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Oklahoma Sooners, and the Dallas Cowboys.
