Dr. Terry Whitaker brings more than two decades of experience to Laster Eye Center, providing patient-focused care to the Greenwood community. A graduate of Greenwood High School, she continued her education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
Dr. Whitaker graduated magna cum laude and has continued to advance her clinical expertise throughout her career, earning board certification and advanced procedure licensure.
She is passionate about helping patients improve their vision and overall quality of life, believing that clear vision is one of the most valuable tools a person can have. Her approach to care is centered on understanding each patient’s needs and providing solutions that are both effective and comfortable.
Outside of the office, Dr. Whitaker enjoys spending time with her family, including her son and her dogs. She also enjoys reading and baking in her free time.
